Students:  Remind your parents,  Back to School Night is tonight.  Be sure to give them a copy of your schedule…..  There will be no bells, parents will visit each classroom on their own, 4:30 – 6:00 pm


The first “Uplift” Club meeting of the year will be held today @ lunch in Mrs. Pyzer’s room #10A.  All are invited!


Approved Off Campus Lunch Passes will be handed out in front of the HS office AT lunch, today.  See you at 12:50 ~ 


Looking for a career?  Check out the opportunities in the logging, lumber, heavy equipment, Fisheries and wildlife, forestry or Biology fields. 

Mrs. Jones is taking a group of students to Scotia on Thursday, Sept. 26th.  See her for information! Applications are due this Friday!


If you are interested in helping the California Women in Agriculture prepare for the Lake County Pear Festival, see Mrs. Jones today!  Help is needed on Friday, Sept. 27th.


If you are in an Ag class and are interested in traveling and competing.  Join an FFA Judging Team.  Sign ups are in Mrs. Jones room 29.  


The District forms handed out at Welcome Back Day are due back.  Please get those turned into the high school office immediately.


Attention students: Congressmen Mike Thompson is taking applications for this semester’s Student Leadership Council.  

If you are interested in working with him and learning how the Government works within your community, please see Mrs. Galvan for the application.  Deadline is Sept. 10th.


Community Service opportunities

Minnie Cannon Elem needs help tonite with childcare for Back to School Night.  5:30-7:00. Sign up this morning in the counseling office.


Cobb Elementary is looking for students to help with their Book Fair @ the Back to School Night on Thursday, Sept. 12.  “Cobb Elem Alumni” would be fun to have help!  5:00-7:00 pm. Sign up in the counseling office.
